is the link to the introduction page of the Clan Donald DNA website. If you click "Results" and then "R1A" you will come to the section that shows the results for the group my cousins are in. All the information is pretty interesting and if the results for you don't link you to my group of MacDonalds and may hook you up with some others. If you do take the test I would recommend the 67 marker, even though it's a little spendy. There might be a discount for signing up through the MacDonald surname group at Family Tree DNA. Send your email to coachpage@aol.com and I'll send you a brief write up connecting the user codes in the results to my cousins.
I haven't done much Carolina research as yet, since the DNA connection to that area has been rather recent. I'll let you know if I come across anything.
