More on my message #7571 Minerva Jane McDonald Minerva Jane McDonald born about 1844 probably in Monroe County, Indiana. The 1850 US Census, Indiana, Monroe Co, Indian Creek Twnsp has the household of Elijah/Elisah Weaver age 26 b. N.C. also listed with him was Sarah Weave age 26 b. TN and Minerva Jane McDonald age 4 b in IN. There is a marriage record dated May 1, 1845 in Greene Co, IN for an Elijah Weaver and Sarah McDaniel. If Sarah is the mother of Minerva Jane and Elijah is her father why are last names so different. It is possible that Sarah was unmarried when Minerva was born or Elijah could be her 2nd marriage. What is most puzzling is that Minerva disappeared until she married Sanford Harrison Brown in 1862 in Monroe County. In 1860 Minerva might have been about 14-15 years old going by 1850 census. So one would imagine she was still be living with her parents if they were still living. No Elijah/Elisha and Sarah Weaver was found in Monroe Co. However, they were found in Greene Co, but Minerva was not shown in their household. I also seems that Elisha and Sarah later move to Missouri as they can be found in Grundy County, Missouri from the 1870 census on and with other children as well Any help would be appreciated Notify Administrator about this message?
