I am looking for connections to and information on Charles Frank McDonald's (1895 to 1975) family. This is my great grandfather on my father's side. His death certificate states his parents were Charles McDonald and Mary Sullivan and that he was born in Chicago IL on 24 June 1895 and he died in St. Petersberg FL on 16 July 1975. He married Phoebe Alice Harris (20 June 1894 IL to 09 May 1974 St. Petersberg FL) in Chicago IL on 07 June 1916. They had 2 children, both boys, Charles Frank McDonald JR (30 Nov 1918 Chicago IL to 30 June 1946 Manila Philippines) and Russel Eugene McDonald (1920 Chicago IL to 1993 Largo, FL).
He worked for a railroad in Chicago and retired to FL. His marriage license shows that his father gave permission for "Charles Frank McDonald JR" to marry. Also found a WWI draft card for a Charles Frank McDonald JR and it states he had some type of defect that would exclude him from being drafted.
I know he had at least 1 sibling, a younger brother named Robert McDonald who would have been born about 1900.
There are no longer any living persons, that I know, who can give info on Charles Frank McDonald's parents or sibling(s).
