Hello! I have an Archibald McDonald in my family. He was born abt 1780 somewhere in NC. He appears in the 1850 census of Lowndes Co GA, and 1860 census of Irwin Co GA. He apparently died before 1870 as I can't find him then. His wife's name is either Malsey or Molly. She was born abt 1800 and may be a second wife. His daughter, Lucinda, married Green Walker (my ggg-grandparents) in Irwin Co GA in 1847.
Where in NC is the will of Archibald, Sr recorded? Do you think it possible that my Archibald McDonald is your Archibald Jr.?
