I would like any information anyone has on the Tippah Co MS MCDONALD families. I found Robert McDONALD there in 1840. I was so in hopes of tying one Robert McDONALD, who lived near Wilson SWAN, in Pike Co AR in 1840 to these families, but looks like that won't happen, unless Robert got counted twice, once in Pike AR and another in Tippah MS. Mary McDONALD married Wilson H SWAN in 1833, place unknown, date was in the family bible, and was in Pike Co AR, where several daughters were born, an older son, Robert Franklin SWAN having been born TN, other children born MS.
