Rebecca,
Thank you so much for responding to my posting.I'm sorry though to report that I haven't run across a Polly Ann in my McDonald line yet but will notify you if I do.With the info you gave on her it sure sounds conincidental that her parents came from Alabama as did my Robert S. McDonald. It makes me wonder if Polly's father might have been a brother or uncle to my Robert S. McDonald because right after the 1900 Census in AR my Roibert S. moved his family to Coal County, OK where his wife Clemmie died in 1906.Coal County is two counties over to the east of Murray County that you mentioned.I'll be on the lookout for your Polly Ann.
Thank you also for the 1900 AR Census info but I already had come across it in my path up to the brick wall where I have been banging my head as it is the earliest offical location that I have found on my Robert S. McDonald.I did find a Robert S. McDonald in the AL census in 1880 with a different wife and two children but I don't know for sure if he is mine or not but I highly suspect that he is due to some other info.
Anyway, thanks again for answering my posting let me know if you run across my Robert S. and I will do the same for you on your Polly Ann.
