I am looking for any information on Michael Mcdermott Born 1841 Sligo. He married Johanna Sheen (possibly Sheehan) Born 1843 Waterford (?) I think that's what it says on census. They moved to Glossop Derbyshire. He was a Journeyman tailor. On The 1871 census their name is written as Dermott though on 1881 census it is McDermott and Johanna is called Anna. They had a son Michael born 1871 who married and lived in Glossop all his life. I was told that Michael and Johanna may have returned to Ireland but I now think Johanna died in Glossop as there is a death record for 1883. I dont know what happedned to Michael as he does not apear on any census after 1881.In 1881 they lodged with Anne and William Larkin. William was also a tailor and Anne was from Roscommon. I don't know if they were related as in one census idnex I have seen Michael is listed as Border and in another as brother.
