Hi Julie: Glad to see you are still on it. I believe Fanny Mcdermid was born earlier ca 1796 . She gives conflicting ages on census. Did you know she married 2nd time to Adam Christison, 7 Oct 1866, Jackson Co., MO. History of Jackson Co, MO, Her name was different, a printing error. The info was sent to me from a Christison researcher. I believe she was buried in Vernon Co., but had no idea of a marriage when I was researching in Nevada. I just know I never found her grave.
I am still working on CP's wife, Emily Finney. She had been m before CP to Samuel Rennick, and I have seen the record in Allen Co., KY. There were some county line changes with Barren, Allen and Warren Co., Ky. Have you learned any thing good about her parents, John Finney and Elizabeth Heart? Finney and Heart (Hart) are both near each other on Difficult Creek, near Bowling Green, and I think they may have had father's who were in Rev. War. I must bite the bullet and write Virginia for Francis McDermids military Rev.War papers. I think theyu charge $40, but the Fed Archives is almost as expensive. I've got my papers for him jut about ready to send in to DAR. I will enjoy hearing of your success.
