I have in front of me a book titled "Waters of the Golden Trout Country" written by Charles K. McDermand. I bought the book at a garage sale years ago and have read it many times. He was a good writer and you really get the feel of being with him on his fishing expeditions.
On the frontice piece to the book it is inscribed, in his hand, "Charles McDermand for Victory Lodge".
The book is also dedicated to his Mother. It says;
To My Mother who enjoys the high mountains more than anyone I know.
The book was written in 1946 and published by G. P. Putnam and Sons. It is illustrated with black and white photographs.
