Bud,
Have you ever run across a marriage of a female McCutchen to a McConnell. My ancestor, John McCutchen McConnell was born 12-25-1789 in western Pa. He was apprenticed at the age of 16 to a tailor in Cannonsburg. We have not been able to find any record of this apprenticeship in Washington, Pa. We believe he was perhaps an orphan by this time as he left Pa. and went to Ky. and became a lawyer and served in the Ky House and Senate. His children all were named for his wife's family with the exception of Mary Ann. Any help would be appreciated. We did belong to the Westmoreland Co. Historical Society for a while as my Christies, Russells and Reas all came from there to Ohio.
Florence in Ohio
