Joan, Sorry for the long delay in replying to your message. I have these children of Matthew and Elizabeth (Bailey) McCurry: Oliver (1834-1862); Henrietta (1836-1911) and John B (1838- ). The children of Matthew and Jane (Smith) McCurry are: Elizabeth (McCurry) Wood (1843-1875) my line; William Franklin (1845-1921); Lucinda Emaline ((1846- ); Frances Therina (1849- ); Marion Columbus (1853- ); George S (1854-1855); Caroline 1856-1857); and Margarethe (1857- ). The first 4 children of Matthew and Jane were born in Tennessee and the last 4 were born in Missouri. I found a census record 1850 for Bogle, Genry, Missouri that lists a John Jones McCurrie b. 1769 in Virginia living with Matthew and Jane. I am not sure where he fits in as I have a James McCurry as Matthew's father. Happy to share any other information.
