Hi, Shane.I am glad to see that you are still around and being buried under genealogical research like myself.
Here is what I discovered yesterday, although I am not sure that it is accurate:
In India there was a Maj. Gen. Hamilton Hall who married in 1795 Flora Tondeclair. One of their daus was Mary Frances who married first to Major John Phillip Winfield and then secondly in 1816 to John MacLeod, son of Alexander MacLeod and Flora MacQueen.I am only guessing that Elizabeth Flora Hamilton Hall, who married Lt. Col. Edward McCurdy, was another daughter. If I am not mistaken, there was also a Cuppage-MacLeod connection.
These are the possible children I have of Edward and Elizabeth Flora:
William Hamilton McCurdy (1831-1832)
Charles Alexander McCurdy, b. 1839
Helen Flora McCurdy, b. 1828 and died same.
Frances McCurdy
Edward Hamilton McCurdy (1829-1848)
I am sorry that I have been away from McCurdy research for quite some time as Macaulay research keeps me pretty much snowed under. With very best wishes, Paul
