I'm very new to researching my family line (3 days exactly). I decided to start with my fathers family because he is now living with me and has given me a couple of names. He never knew any of his mothers family. I really don't even know how to go about looking up any of this information so if you have any advise I would be very grateful.
I know that my fathers(William Thomas Miller) mother was Sara/Sarah Belle Wilson b. 09/25/1894 m. Thomas Jackson Miller b. 01/26/1889.
Her father was Caleb/Claiborne Wilson b. married Elisabeth Rebecca McCully.
Children: Nancy J, William Thomas, Franklin, Edgar, Carrie, Horace,Susie,Marie and Pearnie. I think.
Elisabeth/Elizabeth was the daughter of James McCully and Mary Jane Miller.
Children: John B,Isabelle,Franklin,Carline,Margret,Nancy.
James McCully was the son of Job McCully and Nancy Davis.
Children: Mary,Elizabeth,William,Amanda,Lewis,Martha,Job Jr.,Frances,Nancy,Margaret,Harvey,Dibila Jane,John,Rhonda and Catherine. I think their may be more because Job had 2 wives I read on onother forum. Eleven children with each wife.
I have no information on the Wilson side as of yet so I'm also looking for that line.
If anyone has information on any of these names I would appreiate the help tremendously.
