Interesting article about the death of Asa Alfred McCully, born in 1818 in Sussex Vale, New Brunswick. Died of being kicked by a horse in 1886 in Dayton, Oregon. Travelled by ox-train to California as a young man and was a man of some importance in Oregon. Actual obit and newspaper articles can be found at:
