I am a descendant of Jane K. McCullough, born in 1822, daughter of Ebenezer and Mary H. McCullough. We believe Mary's maiden name was Hart because of a quilt that is passing down through the family to eldest daughters of each generation. The quilt was brought to Wisconsin by Jane. On the back of the quilt it says, "Polly Hart, her quilt" and a date of 1805. We can only guess that Jane's mother's maiden name was Hart.

Jane may have had a brother, Smith McCullough.
