McCullough Family Genealogy Forum

I agree on the names not sounding familiar, with the exception of the Milton being used as a middle name by one of my relatives. I'm betting there is a connection maybe back a couple more generations. Maybe cousins at least. Just seems too unlikely not to be since they are in the same area around the same times and with mine all being such large families. And it is intriquing to me about the Cherokee connection you mention; since that is what my grandmother alluded to (from what I can recall; of course I was quite young and might not be recalling it correctly). I'm now wondering if it was existant in my line of McCulloughs; possibly it was through one of the wives. I have done no research into any of their family histories. Tell me about this listing you mentioned about the Indian families? How could I use it to possibly look for a connection with some of the maiden names of my ancestors? In the meantime, I think I may take each of the boys and try and track who they married and what their childrens names were. There lies a huge number of possibilities for links there; all I've given you are they ones directly related to me. But who knows what I might turn up if I search on each one? I'll let you know what I turn up; it might be awhile as this is only a "catch as as catch can" type thing for me since I work full time and live alone (well, me and the 3 kitties!).
If you find out anything additional, please keep in touch.
Take care,
Robin
