Robert, thank you for your detailed reply.

What is the source of the statement: "Samuel McCulloch, a native of Scotland, came to Pennsylvania with his four brothers, either from Scotland or Northern Ireland, locating in the Tuscarawas Valley." Is this from a specific regional history book, biographical collection, obituary etc. you could refer me to? Perhaps I can pursue that further for clues on my James McCulloch. Thanks.
