Pheraby McCullers/Samuel Williams

I am looking for the family that Pheraby McCullers belonged to. I don't have dates, but she married Samuel Williams, and they were the parents of Harry (or Henry) Samuel Williams, who was b. in NC, and died in Tennessee in 1837. Harry Samuel's wife was Martha Macon Seawell, and she was born in 1790 in NC...so Harry Samuel was probably born around 1780-1790. That would make Pheraby McCullers Williams born about 1750-1770.

Harry Samuel Williams was a "pioneer" of West Tennessee and georgia...and I believe he might have taken his mother, Pheraby McCullers Williams with him.

Joseph Seawell Williams (1814-1878), son of Harry Samuel Williams and Martha Macon Seawell, wrote a book entitled "Old times in West Tennessee" which relates his families migration from NC to GA to TN and settling in Lauderdale Co., TN.

Would like to correspond with anyone who has any clues for me.

Barbara Craddock Pike
