The land (and house) which Cornwallis used for staging the Battle of Guilford Count House belonged to Joseph HOSKINS(my ancestor), not Thomas McCUISTION.
Maps made after the Battle list the house, and identify it as "Hoskins house".This is also listed in literature of both Guilford National Military Park, and of Tannenbaum Park, just outside the battefield, where the house and staging area was. Some on-line links that show this are:

Joseph HOSKINS son Ellis HOSKINS married Sarah "Sally" McCUISTON (my line), daughter or Robert McCUISTON and Isabel CUNNINGHAM.
I also descend from your Ann MOODY's father Thomas MOODY, through his second marriage. His son Thomas L. MOODY (Ann's half-brother) married Thankful McCUISTON.
