I am looking for information on Lillie McCue b. abt 1886, who married James Paul Isaiah Pruitt sometime before 1910. In 1900 James, b.1884, was the last child still at home with his parents Samuel Wallace and Amanda Bellew Pruitt according to the Blue Creek, White Co, GA census. I have not found James and Lillie on the 1910 or 1920 census, but I know they were later living in Anderson, SC. Lillie came to this country from Scotland with her father when she was around 6 years old. She had a brother Michael "Mickey" McCue who stayed in the old country, or returned later. The surname is believed to have been McHugh, but Lillie's father had such a brogue, the immigration authorities understood it as McCue.
