Thank you so very much. The Nathan J is my grandfather.He was born March 22, 1872. We thought he was born in Jackson County but not positive. He died October 12,1954 in Gillette Wyoming at the home of my Uncle James Aurist McCue. He is buried in the Teel Graveyard Milltown Gainesboro Tennessee located in the 3rd Civil District of Jackson County, on Wartrace Creek, about 1/2 mile above the Camp Ground Methodist Church.
Nathan J McCue married Louversie D Hufhines b: July 06,1881 d: August03,1952 also buried in Teel Graveyard. They had 4 children #1= James Aurist #2= George Nathan #3 Paul #4 Ova.
Louversie was a daughter of George Washington Hufhines b:February 16,1846 Jackson County, Tn d: February 07,1930 in Gainesboro, Tn. George Washington married on January 27,1870 in Gainesboro,Tennessee to Louvernie J Carver b:Nov 16, 1854 --d:Sept 27, 1892.
They had 9 children:A Set of Twins #1=Alfred b:Feb-12-1870 #2= Alice b:Feb-12-1870 #3= Martha M. b:Jan 20,1874 #4= Samuel Marion b:Jan 12,1875 #5= James Harley b:Sept 27,1877 #6= Louversie D. b:July 06, 1881 d:Aug 03,1952 Madison Tn County of Davidson #7= Lenora J b:April 27,1887 #8= Lena Mai b:June 17, 1887 #8 Ova b:Dec 10,1889
After the death of wife #1= Louvernie George W married his wife #2= Martha Ann Ray Carver Nov 08,1893.
They had two children. #1= Curry b: Sept 19, 1894 #2= Mary b:March 24,1896.
George Washington was the son of Riley Washington Hufhines b: Sept 03, 1824 Gainesboro Tn d: March 01,1876 Jackson County Tn BET: 1842 - 1843 He m:Sarah/Sallie Ray b:April 24,1825
