Hi,
Now I am confused by your posting saying that you were only posting references with no distinction between individuals.
In your original posting, you said "The facts, with proofs, are as follows:"
and then continued with stating that John MACCUBBIN married first a daughter of Samuel HOWARD and had three children John, Samuel and Elizabeth [MACCUBBIN] , and these were the same as the John and Samuel named in John MACCUBBIN's 1685 will.
Perhaps this was part of a reference and quote by someone else, but there was no obvious connection to any other source or quotation marks around any of it, so I thought that everything that followed the statement "The facts, with proof, are as follows:" were your statements of what you belived as fact.
Sorry if I misunderstood what parts you were listing as references to others and what parts you were listing as your own opinion, but others may also read your post as I did, that you believed that the same John MACCUBBIN married both Eleanor -?- and Deborah HOWARD.
