Based on the following naturalization record, I am searching for McCrorys in County Monaghan:
!NATURALIZATION: 1842-1848 LDS #1324636 Mercer Co, Pennsylvania, Naturalization Dockets, Old Docket #1 pg. 198 ***And now to wit 21st day of February 1842, James McCrory a native of Ireland In pursuance of the acts of Congress for the naturalization of Aliens makes report of himself as follows to wit that he was born in the county of Moneghan [sic] emigrated in July 1837 and arrived in New York in the State of New York that he was about 27[??] years of age (See oath and report filed). [New handwriting]: And now to wit 9th Nov 1848 James McCrory presented his petition praying to be admited [sic] a citizen of the United States.Whereupon the court grant[sic] the prayer of the petitioner and he was naturalized.
