I stopped in Ardmore, OK in 2000 and visited with Robert Hilton McCrory. He is a direct descendant of James McCrory and owns James' Bible. He showed me the Bible and pictures of his Dad holding it.He also burned a CD for me that has a small history book about James & Thomas during the Revolution, pictures of the Bible family entries, other documentation (85 pages) and the family tree.As noted earlier, It does not list James' parents.I would be happy to cut a copy of the CD and send it to anyone who would like a copy.E-mail me with your e-address; name and snail mail address at [email protected] I ask is that you e-mail a GenReport of your information on McCrory, Jackson, Tyll, Finney, Lewis, Manning and/or Majors. The more information I have the greater the odds of finding my ancesters. May God Bless your research. Fran McCrory Meservy
