COOK's mill and crossing the East Fork of Richland Creek and by TWITTY's corner, and by WM. McADAMS' line and with his line to the top of a ridge, and by a tract sold by HUGH McCRORY, deceased, to ELIJAH STILWELL, and by a tract of land belonging to the heirs of JEREMIAH GANT.This 8th January 1840.Wit; JOHN McKNIGHT and JOHN SHORT.

PYLE and ELIZABETH, his wife formerly ELIZABETH McCRORY, JOHN COCHRAN and POLLY, his wife formerly POLLY McCRORY, heirs at law of HUGH McCRORY, deceased, and WILLIAM McCRORY to whom JOHN COCHRAN and his wife conveyed their interest in two thirds of the real estate of said HUGH McCRORY, deceased, have this day sold to JONES COLLINS for the sum of seventeen hundred and twenty dollars for a tract of land which said HUGH McCRORY died seized and possessed of being in Marshall County and in District No. 2 and bounded by a public road a short distance north of WM. McCRORY for the sum of thirteen hundred dollars for a tract of land in Marshall County and District No. 2 and adjoining CHILDRESS'corner and to the top of the ridge and near the head of the hollow following the main channel to where it empties into the caney Branch, and by W.
