Thank You Vern, This is great! It was very nice of you to Look up that information for me. I have read it and understand it. The family lived near and basickly on bothe side of the Stanislaus county and and San Joaquin County. The Townships that they lived in like, Oneal, Douglas and the village of Langworth are no more. I assume that the Charles MCCREERY, we found in the 1900 census is not the same as mine as his father was born in Scotland and not New York Though he is the same age and his mother was born in NJ.? Mccreery, Charles A, Lodger in household Barnum Rossen???, Born Jan 1855, age 44 (corrected to 45 because of census date), Single, PoB NY, FPoB Scotland, MPoB NJ, Laborer Gee I wonder what happened to him? I know my Charles was still living in 1892, and at that time his Brother, James MCCREERY b: 5 MAR 1852 NY and his mother Sidney BARNES McCREERY b: 15 APR 1819 NJ had passed away, I assumed in California but maybe in ILL.? Although I have not seen the Cemetery records for Langworth which is just west of Oakdale. There dad REV. Joseph McCREERY / McCREARY was living with his dau. in 1870. 1870 California, San Joaquin County, Oneal, Page 109 Bishop, M. F., age 28, born in Illinois (McKendree Fairchild) Bishop, Jennie, age 24, born in New York Bishop, Mary, age 2, born in Illinois McCreary, Joseph, age 54, born in New York I wonder where there was a methodist church in ONEAL, TWP. Thank You Best regards Kurt Notify Administrator about this message?
