The Tweedsmuir Histories of Lyons state that “Everard McCredie was the original founder of the McCredie clan here, coming from Chippewa with two sons.” His wife’s name was Janet McMeckan; their children, from eldest to youngest, were named JAMES, Margaret, Christian, Isabel, Annabel, Janet, William and Thomas. It is not clear how long Everard lived, but his name appears in Norfolk County’s Willoughby Census for 1823.

I have lots of info on Everard and the descendants of his son James (which I'd be delighted to share), but don't know any Andrews. Where did you find the information about Janet?
