I am a direct descendant of William McCready born in USA and died in New Brunswick. William and his brothers Caleb and John fled to Canada with their mother after their father, also William was killed in the Amer. Rev. fighting for the loyalist cause. Their mother, Elizabeth married Andrew Sherwood, another loyalist and they lived in French Village NB. I have some info to share and continue to look for more. William married Isabella Violet Ford and had a son named William who is my 3x gr. grandfather.
