Mr Reed,
I saw your letter posted in the forum and felt compelled to respond. Unfortunately, I do not have any information concerning your William McCready but the name caught my eye. I have a four year old son named Robert William. He is the 5th generation of first born sons in this line to take the name Robert. You might or might or might have not have heard of my grandfather, Robert Black McCready. He was involved in New Brunswick provincial politics for the better part of twenty years('65-'82). He is infamously known for being the only politician in New Brunswick to cross the floor form the Liberal party to the Conservative party and be elected in the same riding in the ensuing election. His grandfather, John McCready immigrated from Ireland in the late 1800's and took up residence in Shannon, N.B(Queens County). I have always wanted to trace my roots back further and find unknown relatives and maybe this could be the start of that journey.
Regards,
Shane McCready
