Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question. I do, however, have a question in return.

I am interested in determining who were the parents of Catherine McRea b. abt 1824, who married James Graham and was living in the Andover Settlement in New Brunswick in 1851. Any chance of a connection to your Jane McRea?

In the meantime, I'll see if I can find an answer to your question re: Capt. McRea.
