McCray Family From Thomas & Grady Co. GA.

I am searching for more info on J. J. McCray who married Mary Copeland in Thomas County, GA. on Jan. 2, 1881. J. J. McCray ( James ) died before 1900 census. His wife, Mary Copeland McCray was listed with children in Cairo, GA. in 1900 :

1900 Federal Census
Cairo District
Part of North A. M. R. R.
June 14, 1900

Mary McCray, w, f, Oct. 1856, 43, wd, 6 children / 6 living. Georgia, Georgia, Georgia. Farmer
Sanford, son, Sept. 1884, 15, Georgia, Georgia, Georgia
Ethel, daughter, Dec. 1886, 13, Georgia, Georgia, Georgia
George, son, Aug. 1887, 12, Georgia, Georgia, Georgia
Marie, daughter, Sept. 1889, 10, Georgia, Georgia, Georgia
Rebecca. daughter, Aug. 1893, 6, Georgia, Georgia, Georgia

Also Mary Copeland McCray had a sister named Susan Copeland born abt. 1855 who married a J. W. McCray on Dec. 21, 1875. I have a hunch that J. J. McCray and J. W. McCray are brothers. However, I can not locate J. W. McCray on census, either to prove my hunch.

Other surnames connected to these families are :
BUTLER > COX > PRICE > JONES > MILLER > SELPH > BASKO >
WHITE > GODWIN > PARKER > SPOONER > HURST > SPARKS >
Just to name a few.

Many Thanks
Robbie Long Kovach
