I've read with interest the postings about James McCray
of Scotland and Ireland and wife, Ellen Bell.
Has anyone been able to determine a town in Scotland
that they may have been from? And has anyone determined
who their parents may have been?
I would like to recommend the book The McCrays of America by Philip Roger McCray available through Heritage Books, Inc. It has over 400 pages of readable history. (I don't have any personal stake in this recommendation.)
