Hi Sharon,

Thanks for your reply.

I also found info on ancestry, that I believe is our Collins line. In the Virginia 1910 cencus I found Henry Collins, wife Lonvidia, and children whos's names and birth date's match our aunts and uncles. Plus I found the marrage licence for Henry and Linnie (11 Nov. 1891, the date my mother told me)in Virginia marrages 1851 - 1900.

My mother said her mothers names was Lovenia, with nicknames such as willey, Willie, Lena, Lennie, Linnie Willie. My aunts seemed to disagree on what name she went by.

I would love to have any pictures you are willing to share! I have pictures of my mom and her siblings, through the years, that I would love to share with you. I haven't any pictures of my grandparents, so that would be especially sweet.

I also found in the 1880 cenus a Wm. McCraw married to Mary J. in Newbern, Pulaski, Va. with children listed, 3rd. child Lennie born in 1872 (birth date of our g.mother) with brothers Thomas and Marion, and sister Laura three of the names my mom said were her uncles and aunt. I have no idea if this is the McCraw line, but there are a few similarities.

As I have said, I know very little about the Collins/McCraw family, with what I do know, it's like finding a needle in a haystack.

I will email you my address.

Thanks,
Linda
