I am searching for information about my grandfather. He married Julia Meritt and he died in 1966 or 1967 at the age of 92. They had three sons, my dad Clifford, James,William and one daughter Elder. I have been told by my mother that he remembered coming to the US from Scotland in the 1800's. I believe that his family migrated here either to North or South Carolina. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
