My great-uncle's name is also Willis McCraw, born in about 1910 in Arkansas. He was most often known as Buster and sometimes as Alvin. I think his name must actually be Willis Alvin. He had two siblings, my grandfather, Bernie Marvin "Bud" McCraw, born March 13, 1911, and Sarah Estelle McCraw, born March 8, 1913, all in Arkansas.

Their parents were Alvin and Emma Wood McCraw. Could the use of the name Willis be a coincidence? I see the name Willis as someone who married into the McCraw family at one time or another.

Any ideas?
