Hello,

I don't know if you've recieved any information regarding your search.

I am related to Nimrod by way of his son, John Fulton. My line goes something like this:

Nimrod McCracken
John Fulton McCracken
William Hewitt McCracken
William Donald McCracken
William Alfred McCracken
Robert William McCracken (me)
William Maddox McCracken (my son)

I can help you with whatever information you need. I'm NOT a professional by any means. I have a book by Phillip McCracken that chronicles the genealogy of James McCracken. You should also contact Joy Chichester. You'll see a posting by her a little ways down the page. She might be able to get you in touch with a woman named Pam Husband. Her husband is a decendant of Nimrod also (I think). Somehow, her husband and my dad are cousins??

One weekend, my dad and I drove up to Brush Prarie, WA and saw Alvin and Efferiah's graves. I have pictures if you're interested.

Just to show you how small of a world we live in ... I left home (Portland, Oregon) to attend college in Ellensburg, WA. After a few years, I graduated and got a teaching job in Sunnyside, Wa. Before accepting the job, I had never heard of Sunnyside, Wa. My wife and bought a few acres and built a house just outside of town. Just last year, I was doing some genealogy "research" (playing around on the internet) when I started looking into Alvin Clark's family. Come to find out, he's got a son (or grandson...I can't remember) buried in the cemetery about a mile from our house. We drive past it on our way to school everyday! I still haven't gotten out to see it.

Anyway, let me know how I can help. I'd be interested in hearing more about your research.

Thanks
