My grandfather and I never met, because my grandmother divorced him in about 1901. He lived in San Antonio and Houston, TX. He sold stationery goods and was a painter (watercolors, I think). The Houston Chronicle published two big articles about him in 1941 and 1949. I have copies of those. If anyone has his paintings, I'd like to know.
