I see that you found me <grin>..... Don't think I can really be of any help to you, since I have no personal connection to this gentleman. Just something I posted to help others who may be searching.
Checking family gedcoms for this gentleman there are three or more people connected to this person somehow. Go to www.rootsweb. the first screen that appears place his name in the boxes top left and the people connected will come up once you transmit.
You also might think about subscribing to the the Iowa state gen web site....goes out to a lot of people and you will probably get some good advice as to where you could look to further your research of this man.
