Based on the year of birth of your Alexander,the date of the land sale and the reasonable close distance, you might want to secure a copy of the will of Alexander Mccracken, Liberty Township,(currently in Adams County) PA. Alexander's will is dated 5 Jun 1803, probated 18 Jun 1803. Daughters Margaret, Nancy, son in law William Porter grandson Alexander Martin, Exec. Thomas McKee & Issac Moore. Fortunately, Alexander was not a common McCracken name during this period so good odds he perhaps is your man.
