Trying to help a friend find proof that there is a Cherokee connection in his family.
I don`t even have any first names of the parents or granparents.
The only info I have is that the parents lived in the Mingo Junction, Ohio area and that the tragedy happened in the same area I beleive around 1945.
This tragedy claimed the lifes of both parents.
I need some names to get a start into being able to trace.
The father was a McCoy.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
