Still trying to find more information about Alfred McCoy(Coy). He was b orn October 3, 1812, Hartford, Connecticut. He married Elizabeth B. Cass October 15, 1843 in Lucas Co, Ohio. Alfred McCoy(Coy) died January 16, 1884 in Delta, Fulton Co. Ohio. they changed their last name to Coy later on.
Their children were:
Robert Harvey McCoy born November 19, 1846 in Centerville, Ohio
Adeline C McCoy (Coy)born Sept. 19, 1848
Mary McCoy (Coy) 1850, died Aug 21, 1851
Albert McCoy, born Jun 1855,
Henrietta McCoy, Born Dec. 24, 1858
William B. McCoy born Nov. 10, 1861
John H. McCoy,(Coy) born Dec. 14, 1862
Hanford McCoy, born May 18, 1870
Joel F. McCoy,(Coy) born May 18, 1879 (my great grandfather)
Alice McCoy(Coy) born April 19, 1864
I am very interested in finding relatives of these Aunts and Uncles and also finding out about Alfred McCoy(Coy)'s parents who they were and where they came from before coming to America.
