I know this post is about two months late, but I did not come across your query until today.

I am not sure who Archibald's wife was, but I can fill you in on the children part. I have Archibald's father was John McCoy ca. 1690 of Ireland, also. Archibald's children were: Archibald, Elizabeh, Lavinna, Lydia, Susannah, John, James, Edmund, Rachel, Nancy and William.

I am a descendant of William McCoy, ca. 1752-ca.1823. I would love to speak with you regarding your family history. Our family has the original wedding bowl that served food in it at the wedding on William McCoy when he married over 200 years ago.
