I wonder if your Daniel could be a brother to the Dennis in my line. My Dennis was born about 1675 in Norfolk. His father was also a Dennis, the ancestor that I mentioned in my first post. Dennis Jr. had one brother that I know of. His name was Thomas. My Dennis Jr. had a son that he named William. It would certainly be possible that this William was named after his brother. Do the names Dennis, Thomas, Hugh or Richard show up in your own McCoy line?
