I am searching for information on the above Caroline Peyton. Caroline Peyton and Montraville McCoy were the (unmarried?) parents of Maudie (Mandy)(Maud)(Mauda)McCoy born 15 Mar 1890 in Pike Co. KY. This is near the borders of VA and TN. Mauda (Mandy) was subsequently raised by Mont's parents, John Riley McCoy and Barbara (Peyton) McCoy.
Per the 1900 census, Caroline Peyton was born in VA. I do not have a birth date for her, however it appears the birthdate for Montraville (MOnt) was 15 Nov 1869 Pike Co., KY.
I have worked on this for years to find documented sources taking me this far. I appreciate any help you may be able to offer.
