Robert, James and William McKewn, 1767, SC

I am seeking information on the three men listed above.
Robert, aged 52, James, aged 23, William, aged 17, plus Robert's wife Jane, aged 45, and Elizabeth, aged 24. They apparently arrived together in 1767. They applied for and received a bounty of land from the Colony of South Carolina. This bounty was offered from 1761-1770. They are believed to have settled in the Old 96th District and also perhaps Craven Co.. I am particularly interested in anyone who knows of an instance that a McCown was listed as McKewn. I believe that some of the Augusta Co., VA, McCowns were sometimes listed by Chalkley as McCune. Please post a reply or send me an e-mail.
