Joshua Wilson McCown and his son, Joshua Wilson McCown, Jr., move to Texas from Kentucky in the 1850 time frame. I believe that they settled in McLennan Co., Texas, possibly in Waco. I would like to obtain more information about this McCown family because my grandfather's family lived in or near Waco for a while between 1910 and 1918 and my father had at least one cousin either in McClennan or in Navarro Counties.
