My McCown line comes from Alexander & Susan Uncel. I have most of the names in my family data base, but not all. Most are from Lewis McCown's family (a son of Alexander & Susan Uncel). He was a twin brother of Joshua Wilson McCown. A few of the people are from Lewis's brother Joseph's family (the second son of Alexander & Susan). Alexander and susan had 12 children. Alexander was married to Mary Ann Coleman before he married susan. Alexander and mary had five children. Mary Ann died 8 May 1785 a year before he married Susan on 13 Dec 1786. Susan Polley was a daughter of Alexander & Susan who married John C. Polley. I have no record of any of their childen. I have no record of John Shaw McCown
Some of the names in your list I can not place with any of the families I have data on. I don't know how far back you can take your family. if you can give me some names I might be able to tie you into the McCown's.
