I've got you covered on this. It comes out of the supposed brother of John McCown, who I believe was married to Agnes Gilmore. This descends through his son John who married Nancy Kinnear

So there's the McCown-Gilmore-McCampbell connection but it doesn't put John McCown the brother of Francis married to a Gilmore but it shows they were intermarrying to some degree. Thanks for the response.
