Hi Shari:

I am posting this for my cousin in Australia.

Today, actually a few weeks ago, I just discovered that one of my family married a Charles McCowan son of Alexander McCOWAN and Jessie (nee KEMP) One of the witnesses was Robert McCOWAN, I presume brother to Charles. The marriage was in Comrie in 1878 and Charles married Mary Ann SHARP. I think I have found them in the 1881 census but Mary Ann is down as Marian.

Do hope you receive this and reply and can tell me more as I believe we are researching the same family.
