William Henry McCourtie married Mary Griswold Shears, (date unknown), and had 9 children.
James McCourtie, 3rd child born March 16 1806, is our direct line ancestor.
James McCourtie married Marie Carkner, (date unkown), and had 7 children.
Catherine McCourtie, 3rd child born June 25 1834, is our direct line ancestor.
Catherine McCourtie married Elias A. Kimble, March 14 1852, and had 6 children.
Susan Kimble, 2nd child born August 4 1856, is our direct line ancestor.
Susan Kimble married John A. Johnson, October 26 1873, and had 12 children.
Lena E. Johnson, 3rd child born August 19 1878, is our direct line ancestor.
Lena E. Johnson married George N. Forslund, May 25 1897, and had 4 children. Lena E. Johnson Forslund divorced George Forslund and later married Al Brunner, no children were born of this marriage.
Pearl Susie Forslund, 2nd child born September 6 1900, is our direct line ancestor.
Pearl Susie Forslund married Oscar Quitman Moon 1st, 1916, and had one child, Oscar Quitman Moon 2nd, born December 6 1917. Oscar Quitman Moon 1st was killed in an auto accident shortly after the birth of his son.
Pearl Susie Forslund Moon remarried Karl H. F. Pasker, 1918, and had one child, Loyde Charles Pasker born December 9 1919. Divorce occured in 1920 and Loyde Charles Pasker was subsequently renamed, Loyde Pasker Moon.
Both Oscar Quitman Moon 2nd and Loyde Pasker Moon were subsequently raised by Lena E. Johnson Forslund Brunner who was their grandmother together with her 2nd husband Al Brunner.
Oscar Quitman Moon 2nd married Irene Dearing, November 11 1937, and had 3 children.
Oscar Quitman Moon 3rd (Butch), 1st child born, March 20 1943, married Sharron Faye Brubaker, December 12 1962 and had 3 children.
Christopher Wayne Moon, 1st born August 9 1967.
Janell Helena Moon, 2nd born April 12 1970.
Shelby Irene Moon, 3rd born December 25 1972.
Larry Loyde Moon, 2nd child born, September 20 1946, was unmarried at the time this ancestorial history was updated.
Marsha Ann Moon, 3rd child born April 13 1952, married Gus Mondragon, November 9 1969 and had one child Jerrod Lynn Mondragon born May 27 1970 at the time this ancestorial history was updated.
Loyde Pasker Moon, 2nd child born to Pearl Forslund Moon Pasker December 9 1919, is our direct line ancestor.
Loyde Pasker Moon married Margaretha Elisa Maria Kirsch, January 17 1942, and had 3 children.

Barbara Ann Moon, 2nd child born married Thomas Eugene Stidham, December 17 1966 and had 3 children.

Loyde Charles Moon, 3rd child born December 21 1954 is at this time still a bachelor with no known children and is the author of the above.
The synopsis is complete up to 1978 when my father carried it forward, but I have expanded it to cover the basic information I had at my fingertips. It is incomplete at this time as to additional births.
My father Loyde Pasker Moon obtained one of the original cloth scrolls from Mrs. Walter Ewy, his 2nd cousin, and daughter of his Uncle Marion Johnson at the time residing in Humboldt Iowa during one of his travels abroad to visit relatives not seen since his childhood.
The above condensed version of the ancestorial chain, extracted from the scroll, and bringing the lineage to date for distribution to his children and grand children and to his brother Oscar Quitman Moon 2nd and his children and grandchildren and was dedicated to and in loving memory of his mother Pearl Susie Forslund and his granmother-maiden name Lena A. Johnson.
He has placed the keeping of the original scroll with me and tasked me with updating it by each subsequent generation of our family and passing in along for all time prior to my death to someone in the family that will continue the work involved.
I was pleased to see someone else involved in this endeavor and look forward to the sharing of information obtained on the balance of our family tree.
